Groves Racing Service (GRS) was opened in 1998 to build and service modifieds. "We do it because we like to" said Dave Groves, owner of GRS. All of the guys that help out work their daytime jobs and come here at nights and on weekends. GRS builds a limited number of chassis. We pride ourselves in craftsmanship and helping the racer.

Dave Groves has over 25 years of first hand experience driving, building, and maintaining racecars.

Dan Johnson, age 23, has worked on race cars since he was old enough. He builds drag cars and works for Dave at Melvin's and has been helping out at the Modified shop in the evenings and weekends. He is a Wyo Tech graduate.

Ray Perkins used to drive a GRS modified and helps fellow racer Louie Krushansky.

Deana Groves will be in a new modified soon. She helps at the shop with sheet metal and cleanup when her schooling and softball permits.

Remember, we're racers helping racers and that is what its all about.
